Shattering the Guinness World Record at just 1 year and 152 days old as the youngest artist in the world, Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah was born on July 16, 2022, and began painting at just six months old. He is the son of Chantelle Kuukua Eghan, a renowned visual artist and the owner of ArtSphere.
At the age of 1 year and 5 months, Ace-Liam participated in his first group exhibition, Soundout Premium Exhibition, held at the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra. During this exhibition, 9 out of 10 of his paintings sold within the first three days.
Ace-Liam exhibited his work at the EMY Africa Xpo 2024 alongside renowned artists, becoming the first and youngest person ever to have his paintings displayed there. He is also the youngest artist to have a painting hanging in the Museum of Science and Technology in Accra. His works are part of prestigious collections, including the office of the First Lady of Ghana, H.E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo, as well as private collections in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, and all over the world.
Further cementing his legacy, Ace-Liam showcased and sold his paintings at Jeremiah: NFL Stars NKWA fundraising event, using his art to support and uplift young athletes pursuing their dreams. Ace-Liam’s work not only embodies creativity but also serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for others.
On July 16, 2024, as he celebrated his second birthday, the Ace-Liam Outreach Initiative was launched in his name. This initiative is dedicated to giving back to society and nurturing young artistic talents, ensuring that more children have the opportunity to explore and develop their creativity.
Ace-Liam’s extraordinary talent has captured global attention, with features on major media outlets such as BBC, CNN, Smithsonian Magazine, Associated Press, ABC News, Voice of America, CBS, The Telegraph UK, New York Post, and many other international publications.
